Hello and welcome to this blog on a variety of history topics that take my fancy. Currently, my knowledge of history if fairly limited often struggling to date events in the last 1000 years and therefore I hope this blog will be a good method for me to develop my historical knowledge. I do also hope that everyone will enjoy reading it too!
This blog won't follow any particular structure or chronology, rather I intend to go where the wind takes me, looking at different periods in history that catch my eye. The focus will however be mainly on events during the last 500 years with some posts on events before this time. Well that is the plan anyway!
